Life enrichment director Barbara helps create a warm, inviting atmosphere at village on the park with many, many activities. Always trying to please everybody with something that they might enjoy participating in. She is always willing to listen to new suggestions for activities. I find VOP Onion Creek a safe and wonderful environment.

About three months ago we started looking for a better living situation for my mother and aunt based on some increasing caregiving needs. My mom was a bit apprehensive about the prospect of change, but Jimmy immediately put her at ease when he gave us a tour. Every resident we encountered during the tour raved about how much they love living at Village on the Park. It almost seemed too good to be true, but sure enough, within the first month of the move, my mom started telling friends and family how much she loves her new home and all the amenities - including the dining, activities, exercise classes and happy hour! All the staff at every level are also amazing and you can tell they truly enjoy their work and residents. Now my mom and aunt call us all the time to join them for special events or the occasional meal. It's great to enjoy our time together without worrying about anything. if you're thinking of a move to senior living, definitely take a tour here and ask for Jimmy!

What I like most about Village on the Park Onion Creek is the people—especially Jimmy. He was outstanding from the very beginning. He provided a thorough presentation, clearly explained the benefits of living here, and everything he shared has proven to be true.
My mother-in-law lives here, and now my father lives here as well. That says a lot about the confidence our family has in this community.
Village on the Park Onion Creek is warm, welcoming, and full of life. There are always activities taking place, the residents are engaged, and the food is excellent. We couldn’t be happier with our experience

Village on the Park Onion Creek is a beautiful, clean, and welcoming community. The landscaping is gorgeous, the apartments are beautiful, and the entire place feels warm and well cared for.
The staff are always friendly, smiling, and greeting everyone. You can tell they truly care.
It is a very secure and supportive environment. Residents feel safe, they won’t get lost, and there is always someone nearby to help.
Overall, it is a truly positive experience and a really, really nice place. I would highly recommend it.

Village on the Park Onion Creek is one of the absolute finest communities of its kind that we found in our research. After looking throughout Dallas and Austin, Village on the Park Onion Creek stood out as top-notch in every regard.
The people are friendly, the management is outstanding, and the residents are absolutely delightful. It is a pleasure to be here and to work with the management and staff. The support throughout the entire community has been the best we have experienced.

Village on the Park Onion Creek is a wonderful community. One of the things I appreciate most is that it is all one story, so we never have to use elevators or wait in line for them.
I love my apartment because it has both a hallway entrance and a patio doorway. The patio door brings in so much natural light and makes my home feel bright and welcoming.
The staff is wonderful. I always say the staff is one family, the residents are another family, and together we are all one big family. You just can’t find better people. They truly enjoy working with older adults, and it shows every day.

Village on the Park Onion Creek is a wonderful place to live. The people are friendly, and it’s easy to make friends here. After living here for several years, I feel like I know everyone, and I truly enjoy the company.
There are always activities, including canasta, bridge, games, restaurant outings, grocery trips, Walmart trips, live music, and sing-alongs. There is always something going on.
It is charming, beautiful, and I’m so glad to be here.

What’s not to like about Village on the Park Onion Creek? There’s very little. What I appreciate most is the friendliness, the friendships, and the family atmosphere.
The neighbors here truly become part of your daily life. I especially enjoy the connection I have with the people around me, including a neighbor who lives just 50 feet down the hallway.
The housekeeping here is outstanding as well. It feels welcoming, comfortable, clean, and genuinely connected. I’m happy to give Village on the Park Onion Creek five stars.
